hi i m new in AU and i'd like to know how i can find job. seriously speaking i m looking for a dental assistants job , but for time being i can do cashiers' job too like in woolworth and all? can some1 plz tell me the process for this. and also is there any such thing as job centre in AU as they have in UK, if so plz provide details . thank you

For any jobs for Woolworths, Coles, Kmart, Target etc.. visit their website and sign up online for jobs. They will email you when a position is vacant in your area. Generally the link on the website would say careers / employment or something like that.

I have been here 6 months, and found my first two jobs from a recruiting agency, and my current job I was referred to by a friend...and I love it. You will need a resume, and need to look professional at the interview...you'd be surprised how many show up in thongs! Be yourself and you'll get the job. I think you might need school training to be a dental assistant, as it is a medical setting. Check courses at TAFE to see.
