How can I get a job in Australia with the long-term goal of getting permanent residency? |
I'm 5 points away from qualifying for the Skilled visa and would really appreciate your advice. Thanks ignore algosabi - oz is going through a trades shortage and have many trades positions available along with a shortage in nurses we need people in the medical feild......however if you dont fit this type of position; in Queensland there is plenty of opportunity in the hospitality industry (bars, restaurants, clubs etc etc) but to extend your stay past your visa's allowance working in hospitality you will need a sponsor unless you have a parent or granparent living here with citizenship......good luck! i wish i could help you but i wouldnt have a clue hope you get here tho goodluck I live in Australia but I am not sure how to advise you. I guess it would depend on what your job skill you have, like are you Doctor, pick fruit, nurse ect. To what happen, maybe asking your boss to help you when you find a job. Most Australian companies don't offer jobs to foreigners. If you intention is to get PR in Aus I suggest you to come over as a student an complete studies in some field which is high in demand like nursing for example. Once you finish your studies you will easily be able to apply for PR. |
