I would like to migrate to Australia. I would like to know accounting job opportunities for migrants.? |
I have done chartered accountancy from India. I worked in Big 4 in india (3 years) and worked for 5 years in other countries in South Asia in auditing field. I would like to know what sort of job I tend to get if I move to Australia. How open are employers in giving job to migrants from South Asia who do not have Australian qualification and experience. As I apply for accounting job via email, I am not selected for the reason that I do not have specific work experience or education. In this background, could you suggest possibility of getting decent job if I migrate Australia. Thanking you. To my knowledge, there is a massive shortage of accountants in Australia but companies often dislike oversea workers due to the troubles of working visa and etc. I suggest you look into skilled visas that the australian government offer. Once you get a working visa or perm residency, companies will be fighting for your skills! I know if you have experience with a big 4 company overseas and you have the right visas, big 4s would often offer you a position. If that fails, I've seen hundreds of accounting jobs in every city advertised........ Oh yeah...Australian companies are slightly demanding in the language area.
