I want to migrate to Australia, the Australian embassy in Mexico inform about job opportunities like accountan |
Hello. I am mexican accountant (39 y.o.) with a MBA. Two weeks ago I attended a conference about migration to Australia sponsored by the Australian embassy, there I received information about how apply to migrate, I think is a great opportunity. The questions are: Australia is good option to migrants to live in family (a couple and two daughters), get a job and attend school? Migrants have same opportunities to success than australians? Which city: Adelaide, Melbourne or others cities are better to migrants? Would you give me any recomendation? Thanks a lot. I am an Australian and I believe that Australia is a great place to live. So migrating here is probably a good choice. Schooling here is generally top notch if you pay for a private school. Although in saying that, the public school system is not too bad either. Migrants, if their english is good, have more or less the same opportunities awarded to them as people born here. Of course that depends on how good you are at your job and how good your qualifications are. I have lived in all the major cities except for Perth and my favourite was Melbourne. Now I live in a regional centre, which is quieter but has allowed me to continue my university studies and work at the same time. Hope this helps and good luck with what ever you wind up doing. I have a brother in West Australia [Perth] and a sister in South Australia [Adelaide], both have been there for over 40 years and love the place, both have large families. I've visited both on 6 occasions and prefer Perth, which is a beautiful City close to the Indian Ocean, Adelaide to me seems dull by comparison. Australia is a very Cosmopolitan country, all colours and creeds and from what I've seen, they all get on well. I would recommend West Australia but don't know of job opportunities. Good luck Congratulations on making the decision to migrate to Australia. Australia has a high migrant population and for the most part you and your family will not be discriminated against in relation to work opportunities and schooling. The first thing you should do is sit an English test through IELTS as english testing is compulsory and often the biggest hurdle for potential migrants. You will then need to get your accountancy qualifications assessed by ICAA / CPAA / NIA. Once you have positive outcomes for IELTS and skills assessment you can apply for migration. http://www.visalogic.net |
