Jobs for a 13 year old.?

I am 13 years old, I live in Australia and I would really like a job. Could anyone tell me what to search for on google if I want to apply for a flyer distribution company? Or can anyone suggest a job that would be better for me? Loads of people have suggested baby sitting but my parents will not let me.

Please help me!

First of all look at http://www.thesource.gov.au/
A great site based for young people. 12 - 25 yrs old.

Generally it is 14 1/2 to work, but you can work earlier as long as your have your parent鈥檚 permission.

Coles, Woolworths, IGA, K-mart, Target, Big W, The Warehouse.
Any fast food places, McDonalds, KFC etc - they all take on casual staff.
Smaller takeaway shops, like Pizza, Pasta etc... they are always taking on delivery persons and need kitchen hands....

- Most of the places above you apply online on their websites, look for a link 'careers' or 'employment'. You fill in what area you want to work etc, and they will email you jobs coming up, you can pick and choose, if you accept they will call you in for an interview.

As for pamphlet delivering in your area, it's really word of mouth is the best way for a job there. Why not have a chat to the person delivering your junk mail next time, or if you see any of them in the street, just stop and ask. They probably did the same thing to get the job and will be willing to help out

Good luck

Thanks

usally u have to be 16

You are not suppossed to get a job until you are 14 years old and nine months but you might get a job as a babysitter somewhere.

you could sell your body in the red light district of australia.

maybe the olny thing can do is doing a news papers round same thing like that .
I did news paper rounds about that age , was a bit time a go how but .

The best way is to offer to volunteer at this age. This will get you experience for when you want a paid job. Maybe you like animals and could help at a shelter or maybe an old peoples home reading to the elderly. Look up 'volunteer jobs' on the internet. If you prefer to work, I found out that you can legally work 4 hours a week at the age of 13

Usually you need to be 14, but you may be able to get a paper route. You would have to do it in the morning before school though.
