Sick of paying taxes for things i disagree with. Pricktoria Australia?

Why can't I choose where MY tax money goes i am sick of paying them to do a really **** job at running our country where are all of our options???

i love Australia but i hate stupid old men mooching of MY hard earned cash Mr Coward who is to afraid to face the people ignores all respectful letters with question that no one will F@#$EN ANSWER so sick of this should i move to South Australia they have more freedom.

That's what happens in a democratic socialist country. I don't know the degree of socialism in Australia, but I do believe you guys have socialized medicine. With a socialist government comes huge taxes, as to pay for all the inflated, bureaucratic, tax payer funded, government programs. In other words redistributing your hard earned wealth to the so called less fortunate. Luckily in America, we only have a small amount of socialist programs, not nearly as much as most industrialized nations, but there are many here that would like to change that. I'll be there fighting that change very vigilantly.

Well there are a few things here that need to be cleared up. If you move the South Australia you will still be paying federal taxes because South Australia is a state in the Federation of Australia. Someone has answed talking about socialist governments....the federal government we have in Australia at the moment is in no way remotely comparable with socialist governments. As far as choosing where your tax goes........dream on! The minuscule amount that you and I pay in relation to the entire tax revenue that the government spends on infrastructure does not give us the leverage to say where it goes. Tax, like death, is the only surety in life and if everybody gave to what ever they thought was deserving of their tax dollars, it would not be long before no-one paid tax and the country would fall to bits. So forget it and put up with it.
