Moving out at 15?

first off does anyone know if i can legally get an apartment at 15 in australia? i have worked out the costs for living me and my mate both have a job and we would still have money for extras we have looked for apartments and found a few under 200 we are both earning more then 250 a week so thts over 500 together and power etc isnt more then 50 a week, toiletries arnt more then 50 a week and we can both live off 100 for food a week. It doesnt sound like much but we have it all worked out and if it isnt legal would it be a good idea to bord with an 18 year old? well im not sure i want to move out tht bad no more because my life has gotten better at home but hers hasnt we were thinking about getting amanserpated but we cant afford a lawyer. i will except all opinions. we plan on staying at school.

You should probably stick it out at home and save money while you can. If things get to the point where either of you are in physical danger you can move out and then you'll have some extra money to fall back on in case one of you gets injured and can't work or loses their job for whatever reason.

whatever you have calculated quadripple it and that is probably what it will cost you to live out.

Suggest you stay at home, as you will find that you never had it so good.

DONT DO IT !! Trust me its hard! I moved out when i was 16 becoz i couldnt stand living at home so i opted to live with other friends who, too got kikd out. they were 18 so we wer able to get a small unit but units these days that are under 200pw r very dodgy and not very good in quality! hav u figured out ur expenses? lolz sounds like u need to learn alot more becoz things such as electricity and toiletries wont cost u max $50!! power alone can range from $200+ and if ur living on $100 for food ur looking to eat 2min noodles everynite!! and just exactly how are u going to earn 250 a week and stay @ skool?? ur bound to put work priorities before education priorties and u'll be influenced to spend more time at work than at skool...and most likely u'll end up quitting skool. moreover, assignments and hw does take time! trust me! in my situation, i went to live off with my cousins whom have provided me with a stable shelter. i now have a casual job and i resuming my senior studies and im 18. i DO regret moving out, but i felt i had no choice. and why r u moving out anyway??so word of advice girl...think twice! dont end up like me

Well ive calculated the costs aswell and i have moved out of my parents house at 17, the costs were nearly double what i estimated them to be, and also its a big resposibility to live on your own merit, if you get fired from your job, you are screwed. my friend ive been where u have been, in your case you should stay at home with your parents, and work out your problems since its already getting better

Best of luck

Andrew

You will need the equivalent of 6 weeks rent to secure an apartment (bond and 2 weeks advance). You will require a security deposit to connect electricity in your name, and the same for gas if you have gas. You will need to pay to have the phone connected. You will need to buy furniture to fill the place with. Unless you have about $5000 to play with right now you're better of sticking it out at home. This is $5000 you will never see again, yes you get your bond back after you move out, but it usually is used for bond for your next place. I find it hard to believe that you could both earn enough money while staying at school. Have you considered what you will do for transport once you are living out of home? If you can't physically get to work then you don't earn any money.
