Move back or stay in Asia? |
I've found a well paying job in Asia, however, i've discovered that it's a big culture shock here and I want to move back to Canada. I've found a job, but it doesn't pay nearly as much as what I'm making now. What should I do? It's a tradeoff between money and moving back home where I will be much more happier but making much less $$. give it a little more time in asia...once u find ur niche of friends things will look better. work a little longer...save some money...gain some experience...broaden ur horizon. But if u really cant bear it...go back hun...its better than waking up unhappy everyday Do what will make you happier. You will live longer. Obviously it's better off if you move back to Canada since you'll be happier there as money cannot buy happiness. You'll be doing the local chap a big favour as you're leaving a job for him to pick up. What job? Maybe I'll try my luck! culture shock? big time! but you can overcome this. and when is the next time you can go around the world like that! I would give it another go: set a deadline by which you will make the decision to stay oor come back! |
