Next year i have to go in south asia, in bangladesh for my job.can anybody tell me how is country? how should? oh boy! well... I'm a foreign student in Bangladesh, hopefully next year will be my final year. How you perceive Bangladesh will very much depend on where you are coming from. For Europeans it will be weird and strange and sometimes disgusting. The moment you arrive at the airport you will feel it. (I'm sure) Make sure theres someone to pick you up at the airport. The taxi drivers there will be really tricky especially if you are a foreigner. If you are based in Dhaka (the capital) you could live an OK life, if you earn good. Beware Dhaka is the most polluted city and its over crowded. Public transport is a mess. Serious flooding occurs in other parts of the country, in Dhaka its not so bad... it will dry off within a day or two. Currency in Bangladesh is called Taka (1 $US ~ about 70 Taka , it keeps fluctuating) English only will not be much helpful, you have to learn some Bangla words. For me, I have recognized the characters of the bus I have to take to get to my University. If you need to know anything more, let me know. Hope it was helpful.
