I believe that Psychology is not that popular in Asia, but at some point, there must be at least a company that needs a psychology major in it.
Well, I don't know about Singapore specifically, but from what i've been led to believe, you need to get a Masters in Psychology, before you can really get anywhere in that field. Maybe with a Bachelors, you can teach or maybe do social work; however, when you start doing Graduate work in Psychology, you get into the research aspects of the subject. The Bachelors pretty much just lays the basic groundwork on the topic....then again, I guess that's true with any subject. But you really can't do any therapy or counseling (if that's what you're interested in), with just a Bachelors. |
