Can a US citizen with a felony conviction legally work in Asia?


My conviction is two years old. This was a federal offense. I served 5 months at a camp and 5 months house arrest. The offense was white collar. I am very interested in working in Asia. I have a Bachelors in accounting and a Masters degree. (I know I would not have a chance of getting a job in Japan, but what about Thailand, China or Cambodia?) I found a job in Thailand that I believe I would be perfect for. Thank you for your input.
