Why is it there is not much interaction among minorities in california( except asian owned businesses)? |
I'm hispanic and i have relatives and everything, and parents have hispanic friends and all. But seems like most hispanics keep with hispanics. Also, asians keep with asians ... although asians usually have different jobs than hispanics so asians seem to interact more with whites. Anyway, the only time hispanics interact with asians is if we go to these Asian owned supermarkets and stuff. Or if there are hispanics taking ESL classes then they meet Asians from asia. Another thing is Hispanics with blacks....is rare. My cousin , she married a guy from a black family. And they had a wedding where all the family and relatives of the guy were black.. and that church gathering was THE only time where the hispanic family and the African american family had made contact with eachother.. it was pretty odd. perhaps its just the race dynamic despite my own prejudiced feelings towards other races, i'm an asian that had a black and a hispanic as best friends... and there have been many blacks and hispanics that have been kind to me, far nicer than most of the asians i've known lets preach tolerance ppl! and the same goes for me too! lign="right" > Sign in to vote! I'm from Chicago: I think we have more interaction with POC(People of color) I think what makes up so apart is culture and languages barrier we all been had by the MAN.
