The Next Step...?

I'm a complete newb at this...seriously. >_<

I'm not too good with the whole economic funtions, such as checks, money orders, debit cards, and credit cards. Actually, the only most I've done with my bank account that I gained last year was save a lot of money that I had done doing side jobs and such.

I don't know much about the world, really, but I would like to learn how to buy stuff online; my friends tell me that they do it all the time, but I don't know how to do it at all. >_< EBay's sort of frightening to me...but then again, I saw the Kingdom Hearts II-Final Mix+ game taking pre-orders on play-asia.com, so I think it's time for the next step.

Are there any tips that someone can give to a novice of online purchase? ^_^

All I can say to you if giving your information out online is to make sure the site is secure. Any browser you're using should have a notification that you're in secure mode. IE shows a little padlock in one of the boxes on the status bar - and viewing the web address protocol should say HTTPS instead of just HTTP - meaning HyperText Transfer Protocol over Secure Socket Layer (SSL) - this means the site is secure and your information is safe to send.
