Should i/do i have to get a present for my workmates? |
i recently started a job but im also going on holidays to asia soon ( i know, it sounds awkward to take holiday leave b4 you've even worked there for long but i did inform my employer beforehand =) ) anyways should i get my boss and workmates something? and if so do you have any ideas of what i could get them? thanks in advance =) Yes, take a present. Make it very small (most companies have anti-corruption rules about large presents) but distinctively from the country you're going to. It is completly up to you what you want to do. You get gifts just imagine the smile on there face and getting a thanks :) Get them a gift card or something like that so they can just buy something they want :) simple and easy Etiquette would not dictate your getting something, but what a nice thought. I would suggest a food item that can be shared in the office. You could just send a nice postcard, and maybe bring back a framed picture from your trip to put in the lunchroom. You do not HAVE to bring them anything. If you have the money, why not? Get your boss a leather wallet and your colleagues studs. It will enhance the relationship. You may. Get them keychains or some souvenirs from the place you visit. Need not be expensive, about $1 to $2 will be fine. No, I think it would look a bit "sucky". |
