Which United Nations organization would be the best starting point for seeking an entry level job?

I was referring to this link: http://icsc.un.org/joblinks.asp... which has a nice listing of organizations that are a part of the United Nations.

As I understand the UN itself seems to offer only opportunites for people with advanced skills and experience.

It seems like the listing in the link above has some organizations that provide more entry level type work.

I possess a Bachelors degree and have spent about 4 years teaching abroad (Japan, Thailand and Taiwan). Also have visited numerous countries in SE Asia. So I feel I have some experience under my belt (that are a prerequisite for the UN), but am a bit overwhelmed with what organization I should pursue for an opportunity (it does not have to be teaching only, I am open to other areas). Also I am open to any location (as long as it is not in the middle of a war!..LOL). BTW, I would prefer a paid job.

I would appreciate hearing from people that have direct experience working for the United Nations.

Thanks

Good Luck!
Perhaps you can set up a lobbying organization for "new countries" which wish to join the United Nations.

It seems that such services are sorely needed in the world today.

We often read in the newspapers of new breakaway republics in Asia and Africa, and I am sure that the officials in most of these new countries would be happy to employ you to assure their quick and speedy entrance into the UN, along with the submission of their applications for development money directly to the UN General Assembly.

For real-time "entry level positions" you might want to locate some UN affiliated refugee camps. You could travel to the countries where those refugee camps are located, and then approach the officials there about employment opportunities. (Be sure you get all your vaccination shots first.)
My company The Real Deal 4 You help clients find real employers that will pay you an hourly salary to work at home. If you want more information on these companies please contact me www.therealdeal4you.com Say Constants referd you.
Entering as a volunteer to UN Aids to Africa might be a good start. You may also sign up in NGOs (non-government organizations) in your country. This will mold you to be prepared for your UN experience.
Personally, I'd try for Secretary General. In that position you can pillage the various humanitarian programs and line the pockets of yourself, your family and your friends without fear of prosecution.
you have to take an exam and depending on ur score they will let u know what job u can have
