What should be my major in college to teach overseas?

I want to teach english as a second language in Asia after I get my bachelor's degree. At first I thought International Studies would be a good major but then Education came to mind. Which is the best major for getting a job teaching abroad?

they will take any undergrad and in some cases take anything to teach English in Asia
but if you want to continue with teaching you should go with education (and you will also find better jobs in Asia with an Ed. degree)

As a BA teaching in China I agree with both respondents so far. It's also good to get TESOL (Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages) - same as TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language).

China now requires all foreign teachers to have some sort of degree.
