How do you help a person in asia when there are no jobs?

Call me a fool but for several years I have been helping finacally familes in asian countries,no I am a working slob so the money is not huge.Just pay for food and shelter.I need to do more,I have seen the starving there,I have been there and saw,how can I get help for some of these people,by that I mean form a job that pays?

Thank you for being helpful. I also try to help the best way I can. For some, the help is by way of finding a means for them to continue to make a living - - like a bicycle for someone who wanted to continue selling newspapers inspite of his gangrenous left foot.

For others, help is by way of paying for tuition.

I am not a rich man myself, but I am more fortunate than these poor people. If only more people will help...

well the thing is.. if u give them fish..naturally they wud just eat it ... but if u teach them how to fish.. then they will be the ones to fend for themselves... there are lots of jobs actually (skilled and unskilled).. but the thing is.. these jobs are for specific needs.. what if ur not qualified.. if u don't have that particular skill.. then its useless..

sir, here are suggestions that you can do. help a family raise piglets and after three to four months they can sell it in the market. one piglet will cost from 1,200 to 1,500 pesos and after months they can sell it for 3-4,000 pesos. raising poultry is also a good one.

i applaud you for doing what you can but you have to teach them how to fish. will be visiting my province on feb and will be sponsoring poor families in one barangay for free health check ups as well as dental. i pray that i can get enough resources to provide medicines too.

for the children: they need school supplies and clothes. sir, i salute you for doing this and may God in return bless you a thousand fold.

I guess helping them get access to proper job will be a good start. Either set up an office to do that or recommend them to possible employers.
