XBox 360 or Ps3 in South East Asia (pakistan)?

Hey, i know it have been asked b4, but i am gonna do it anyway.
I am from Norway but i am currently livin here in Pakistan (sout East Asia)
I am going back 2 Norway for few days, and i am thinkin about buyin me game console.
a pirated xbox 360 game cost around 150 rs, but ur xbox have to be chipped to run a pirated version.
I have heard that ps3 cant be chipped, so a orignal game cost around 4000rs. (alot of money)
I dont have accses to a fast internet connection, or a HD TV.
my dad have a job here so we cant be leavin for Norway for minmal. 3 Years!
So which 1 do u guys recommend me?

PS3 has nothing on the Xbox games coming out. Even without online you still have many great games that are single player only. Bioshock and Mass Effect to name a few. PS3 is pretty much a joke for the price.
