Moving to a brand new country, how do i start a new life?

I am moving to a new country though I dont know where yet.Its always intrigued me to live this country behind.I have been abroad here in America from Paris but I dont really like it here(no offense to any americans).I am thinking of moving to asia or back to europe or Argentina. With me having little knowledge of the languages,no friends, and no gf how can i start that new life.I am an artist and that is my job and art is universal.Anyway will it be hard to make new friends and fing a gf and everything thats necesity.Dont worry about me missing my family i never had much of a family anyway.Im not moving because I am unhappy I am perfectly happy. Will it be that hard to make a new life.I am really determined to do this. When I have narrowed on a country I will learn everything there is to know about that country, culture, language, and goverment.I am responsible and have really thought this through and waid out the pros and cons.Is my dream within reach of being reality?I just need opinions

My husband and I were stationed in Okinawa, Japan for a couple of years. There were a lot of retired Marine's who live there either because they just liked it or they married a national. I loved Okinawa and mainland Japan. I am working on getting to know the language better so when we go back I can really explore everything! I also really enjoyed Taiwan and even though I know none of the language, it was fairly easy to get around. I guess you could say I would root for Asia...

Its like moving anywhere, you will make friends, learn the culture, I don't think its a hard thing to do at all. Its the same as anywhere else just a different culture and country.

Bon Voyage Frenchie ! Try Cuba, you won't be burdened with the freedom you enjoyed in the USA. Life is very restricted there, you won't have too much to learn and should be able to assimilate with little effort.

Well i think it would be good to learn the language of the country your going to first or you would be really stuck !
When you have learnt the language lots of oppertunities will open up such as working at a place where both languages (your home towns language and the place youve just moved to's language) are used.
Then to make friends..... You should know, be nice, speak their language, maybe buy them a couple of beers talk to them etc.
For the girlfriend talk to the girls and be nice to them.... its not hard to talk to girls but if you want some tips you look it up on google or something. ^_^

I am an American living in Mexico and I am here because I married a Mexican. Let me tell you my transition was made a lot easier because of my wifes family and friends. I cant imagine just arriving to a country and trying to make a life with no support. Even with the support of my wife the transition has been hard at times so think it through well before making any choices.
