What are the advantages in living in South Africa?

I heard allot about how the cardiology or heart health clinics in south africa are top notch and also the recreation opportunities are good! But I heard the jobs are scarce.

Its all about what skillz you have to offer.The highly educated and experienced you are then finding a job is not complicated.Like any country the market place is competitive.There is this stupid western notion that if you have the upper hand if you are from abroad, You don't!

On average South Africa has some of the most beautiful woman in the world - good for any man's heart mate!

That's true, however, South Africans don't look for jobs but start businesses. So you can do that as well when or if you get here.

We have great opportunities here in SA! Unfortunately, all the qualified Doctors, Nurses, Lawyers,etc. etc. immigrate for better pay and to escape the crime - not that it is much better on the side.

But what I'm trying to say is - SA is a great sunny place, beautiful landscapes, great people. And if you have a head for business - you wont go wrong. You just need to seek the right opportunity!

Has it spot on jobs are scares for everyone.

Look for a good idea where you stay look for sometime you are passionate about come here and start a business and make a killing.

..As I know, if you have some money, the fact that jobs are scarce doesn't matter cause the prices of the products are not so high. I saw on TV some elder people who retired from their works move to South Africa and live their aristocratic lives.... but if you are a young man, you'd better get more information about jobs and businesses there...

The people are great , some even offer to mow your lawn....

Living in South Africa you learn alot of different types of culture how they work and how they think.
You learn to deal with alot of issues such as unemployeement, the risk of being killed and hijacked

But you get to know people from a whole lot of different back grounds.
South africa has got the best wild life
There is always some nature conservation in or around your area
The weather is excellent most of the year
The people have a good sense of humor
Some of the children still have good manners

Our doctors has the best experience and knowledge

it sure beats living in north africa ;-) j/k i'm not sure i could live in any african nation. just doesn't interest me much.
