Research help?

I am doing research on my career of choice which is substance abuse counseling.

My teacher wants me to do the following: Develop documentation for human resources professionals to manage a specific employment position. The materials you create would assist human resources professionals to choose, train, and develop successful employees toward helping the company meet its goals.

Reference at least one human resources journal and at least one reputable Web site for human resources professionals, in addition to the text.

Can someone help me find some good sources and maybe a few key points I should write about?

Check out sites of rehabilitation centers. If you can interview an actual substance abuse counselor better. If you know the vision and the mission of the organization as well as the job description of the position you just have to put the training materials into words!

For HR journals and websites you may check the American Psychology Association or google a site specific for HR practitioners.

For substance abuse counselors, you might want to consider what approach (therapy-wise) they use, at what stage of rehab they are most effective and the methods they employ for stress management (their job is quite stressful).
