Just started a new job part time at Wegmans 4-5 weeks ago. Need Advice?

Okay so i started at wegmans about 4-5 weeks ago. and today i was offered a 9-5 ft job somewhere else. I accepted the job offer and i am in for training Next tuesday. I love it at wegmans and i was wondering if i should Quit all together or should i see if they can put me on weekend shifts? How should i go about becoming weekend only? Should i talk to someone in Human Resource?

Thanks for the advice!

Yes, talk to the human resources people. Your position at Wegmenns sounds like a transition position. If they cannot come to agreement your 9-5 position seems to be the way to go. Remember in the meeting avoid burning any bridges.

Yes, go talk to the HR people. Tell them what happened, and see if they can work something out. If they can't, then give them your notice.

Talk to your boss. If he dont apreciate your help, spend your weekends with friends!

My Wegmans has always been really flexible. I come in and work like three hours every evening because I have class until about 5 pm.

I know a lot of people who go to school and come back and work during holidays, or only work very specific shifts.
