I have over 15 years of Human Resource experience through military training? |
I have gone from Personnel Administrative clerk to Human Resource Manager. I got out of the military in Feb of this year, and to date I am still looking for a <A TITLE="Click for more information about job" STYLE="text-decoration: none; border-bottom: medium solid green;" HREF="http://search.targetwords.com/u.search?x... I live in the Killeen TX area and there are just no jobs out here that are willing to pay for my experience. If there are then, they are requiring that you have some type of formal education. If I have the overall supervisory and managerial experience from actually doing the job. Especially in adverse situations, I think that I should be hired at someone鈥檚 firm. What do you all think about this? Me personally am fed up. www.usajobs.gov is the federal website for gov't jobs. There are lots of jobs available in the Killeen area, both federal and gov't contract positions. Your military experience may make you eligible for veteran's preference. And if you ever had a security clearance, there are jobs which may be something. military.com is a good start, also www.clearancejobs.com You'll need to provide performance evaluations, personal references, specific job experiences, etc.. There is a veteran's assistance office, or something similiar on Ft Hood. Contact them and see if they will help with resume writing (to convert military lingo into "english"), interview prep... Good luck... First of all you might consider asking a question in your first sentence. I didnt read the whole thing because i was frustrated that you didnt even word the first setence of your paragraph as a question. There is no question to answer, therefore I cant answer it. |
