What are home depots training methods for employees?

i am doing a project regarding human resources and i chose home depot and their training methods

Most of the compa帽ies in the service area will start the trainning by giving employees a tour, so they can see what other areas they have and introduce them with everyone else, also see coworkers in action. After that the mission and the vision of the company are introduced and explained, a general overview and also your job descrition: what are you supposed to do, what should you avoid to do/say. Then you are ready to start with small responsibilities, so you get familiar with the area and people around you. You will move ahead in the organization as long as you show the right skills and attitude and there will always be someone to help you prepare.... Then again, MOST of the companieshave similar procedures, but not all.
employ and hire, then if you do bad you get fired. Duhhhhhh
They sit the newbie down in front of a computer for a week for "web based training", make him or her watch a few safety videos, then give them an apron and the department telephone and ship em out to the sales floor where they then get scared to death and quit and then the process starts all over again. Call your local HD and ask to speak to the HR Manager for confirmation.
