Majors and Human Resources?

I am going to University of San Diego or Davis this coming fall and I plan on majoring in Sociology and Managerial Economics. Is this a good route to go or should I look into something like Communications, Humanities or anything else? Thanks.

I'm a little confused . . . are you trying to get into Human Resources?

This is offered at some schools as a major (or a concentration) usually under Business. (San Jose State has an HR program)

If you can't find a program - find out about their Business programs . . . that's most related to HR.

Also - check out www.shrm.org - see if they have a college group at either of these schools. Networking in HR is SO important (and you might see if either school does PHR prep)
