What is the difference between MA and MSc? |
I am planning on completing a masters in Human Resource Management. 1 local university offers MA and another 2 offer MSc. Could someone please tell me the difference and which is the best to have It will be a title. An MA is a Master of Arts, while a MSc is a Master of Science. As far as I am aware both titles have equal value. There is no real difference. Oxbridge only do MA but that's just tradition. I guess you've a Bachelor's already - you could want to be BA, MA or B.Sc, M.Sc or you could want to have a combination so that you look more rounded! Either way, just see which course is most suited to you and go with it. MA - master in arts one is a masters of arts and one is a masters of science. no real difference but as a general rule a masters of science sounds more impressive to employers. If you are taking the degree with a view to a specific vocation its worth looking at the employers sites and seeing what criteria they have i'm sorry i have no experience of this ..... |
