When will politicians address foreign policy as it applys to our declining economy & international respect?

When will anyone start talking about the US's falling roll as a world leader and how they need to learn to play well with the rising economic (& military) powers of China (who has invested all over the world including resource rich Africa), the European Union who has done more to unify countries in the last years to benefit all than I can recall happening in history. Brasil's growing economic power. India's powerful human resource. Very few countries respect the US after the last administration let alone look up to us as a world power, how do we plan on mending that and learn to play as an equal. I want to hear that question answered. .. but all that matters outside us is IRAQ I guess.. because our boys ar there. When will somone acknowledge that foreign policy is more than war policy and having a good one not only keeps us out of war it keeps other countries at peace and out of war. We've failed at that.

When they get George W Bush out of office. Sorry he has been the worst president when it comes to taking care of home first. Our economy sucks and we have the worst financial debt than any other country. Time to vote into office a bunch of new politicians.

I have, at times, felt that maybe the decline in American influence is intentional...as if trying to shrink the target painted on us.

The US isn't equal, it surpasses, why would you want to come back down, As far at the declining economy? with record low unemployment, a steady GNP, Very low intrest rates, I don't know what you are complaing about. And in as far as respect, no one respect the one on top, never, that's life

The question you should be asking yourself is when will people stop bending over for lying public officials & seek-out good men and women who're public servants @ heart with the good of the community in their eyes! All it takes for evil men to succeed is for good men to do nothing. Societies will continue to endure what they believe they deserve!
