Two week notice? |
I gave my two week notice September 17th and I said my last day is October 4th. I have been getting harassed at work from the Human Resource because she dont like me. Can I leave earlier then my date I planned on? Would I lose any benefits like accrued vacation or anything like that? I would like to have October 2nd my last day, how do I go by doing this? Thanks Yea you guys are right. I will just try to avoid her. I am going to leave with my head held high You can leave earlier but it would be the same as just walking out . How it will affect anything you get from this employer - like payment of vacation time, etc. will depend on your offer letter, company policies, and/or employment contract. Just stick it out, it is only four days. If HR wants to be petty so what? You don't have to see her again after the 4th. What can she really do to you anyway? You are leaving. If you walk out with your head held high it will bother her a LOT more than if she succeeds in drawing you down to her level. Many people schedule vacation days for their last weeks . And honestly -- if it bugs the crap out of the HR person -- you win by bugging her two more days. Just smile at her on your way out the door on the last official day. Just bite the bullet and ignore her. It could be worse, you could still be working there next month..... |
