Hostile Environment~~~!!?

I had schedule my vacations since the begging of the year at the last time plans changed and i re-schedule my vacas for the week after, finally i didnt go on the cruise as planned and stayed in town with my friends, in the middle of the week i called work to see how things were cause they were moving offices one of the assistant was out for 2 weeks due to medical reasons and i was out on vacation the only one left to take care of everything was my supervisor and the receptionist my supervisor was not being herself meaning she didnt greet me properly when you know someone you can tell something is wrong, so bottom line that everytime she feels like it she creates a hostile environment for me we are like 30 in a 10000sq ft office and the only one i have around is her and the CEO that travels 300 days out the year so i dont know what to do should i take this to the human resource dpt because this is the second time she has done this and i feel uncomfortable!!!!!

I would say to go to Human Resources. Your boss has no right to treat you this way. If you were on vacation, she has no right to be mad at you for not being around to help. It isnt your fault the receptionist was out sick. You've worked, and you earned your vacation time. She cannot keep making it a hostile environemt, bc im sure it make you very uncomfortable. You can explain this to human resources and tell them there are times you want to quit bc you feel so uncomfortable. Hope everything works out!

People have bad days. If her bad days are more frequent than her good days, maybe you should file a report but, really, what are you doing calling during your vacation when you know they're two people down in a very busy time?
