How hard is it to double major?

i am thinking about the major i want to study in and i cannot decide between finance and human resources management. I really want to double major, but how hard is that? i am a hard worker with good grades. currently i take 15 units and work two jobs so it's not that i cant handle busy. i would obviously cut back on work but i really want to get the best education to compete in the business world. i might even continue on to get my masters degree. so the degree i'd receive is B.S. in Business Administration: Human Resources Management and a second degree of B.S. in Business Administration: Finance

i work two jobs because i like to keep busy. i still live at home and i have no bills. i love school and i can totally handle extra work. and my boyfriend goes to school with me and he works too, he won't bring me down

I'm not really sure why people think that a double major is harder than a single major. Usually the same amount of classes are required and the only difference is that someone with a double major will be taking more major courses and will have less electives. Unless you're one of those people who take basket weaving for non-majors as an elective, if you prefer challenging course work over an easy A, you really shouldn't have a hard time with a double major especially if your majors compliment each other. In fact, in some cases I could see a double major being easier.

I have a double major and a minor, am glad I do. More important than your studies/major or grades............work less so you can spend time in class, with your studies, learning and enjoying your college learning experiences.

Don't do it . Since you work two jobs you need finances . If you gamble too much it can be disastrous. One bad boyfriend or one illness and it is all lost. Don't take chances. Better to work less and study more. You know if you don't get 90 percent you are just guessing in class. Be safe in a safe place.

It's really not that hard to double major. Sometimes, classes can even count towards both majors. I double majored in Linguistics and Sociology, and it was a great experience. I loved both subjects, and couldn't choose one, so I chose both.
