Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice?

Does anyone know of a great job with great pay that I can get in San Antonio, Texas with a BA in CJ? I'm also working on my Master's in Organizational Development (Human Resources).

Useless, take any general major don't pigeon hole yourself. As I'm sure you have learned.

With a BA in Cj, you qualify for all kinds of Law Enforcement jobs - Police, Corrections, Probation, Parole... Only problem is, while they are all great jobs, most civil service jobs don't offer great pay. But the benefits usually make up for it.

Check hotjobs or monster. Call a headhunter. Try as head of security for a hotel chain or something. Great pay is relative. Live within your means and you should be fine.

If you got into Criminal Justice for the money, then you have it all wrong my friend. I LOVE my JOB...I LOOK FORWARD to going to work, how many people can say that? (I'm a Police officer) You can make good money, it just usually takes experience and some time....good luck!!

You can basically get any job in the law enforcement field with a degree in criminal justices. If you want the most bang(money) for the job then I'd advice in pursing jobs with the state and federal government. Not only can you get really good paying jobs, you get great benefits like health, dental, vision, 401K, retirement benefits, pay increase, etc. Since you're working for your master then a job with the federal government would be your best bet. You can also be a criminal analyst.
