Sound cutting out with DirecTV receiver and Samsung Plasma with HDMI? |
I have a Samsung HPT-5054 (50" 720p plasma) connected to the DirecTV HR-20 HD DVR with HDMI. There are times when the sound just cuts out. I have read about this with some DLP models. Is there anything I can do? I do not want to use component cables since I want the clearest picture possible. Is this a DirecTV receiver software issue that can be fixed? Hey, this is a universal problem with DirecTV at this time. If you research this you will find that it happens to people all around the country with different channels, different times, and different set-ups. It is not your fault at all. DirecTV is "working on this" and that's all we can do at this moment! Read the postings on the forums and you'll see that there are many possible causes and possible (maybe) solutions. Otherwise, just wait until they fix it and send us a software update! Hope this helps. |
