I'm new at consulting... is there a minimum amt of hrs i'm suppose to bill a client if i'm ask to go in?

Is there a minimum amount of hours required by law to bill a client if you drive into the office? For example, the work only required one hour but my drive time was one hour each way. It doesn't seem to be worth it to just get paid for 1 hr.

Hi Jengga,

There is nothing stopping you for charging travel time as well.

Your situation about, you could charge three hours.

However, what do the same consultants typically charge? Make sure you don't price yourself out of the market..

Good Luck.
