Im working for a Hotel and want a job from another hotel? Is that okay?

I'm working for a hotel front desk and want to have 2nd job from another hotel. Is that possible? Should I say that I'm working for the other hotel already?

It might go against company policy. You might get fired from one if the other finds out.

yeah thats fine. they cant do anything. ive done it before.

You can have my job, I work at a hotel and I need a little help

But seriously, thats ok....my coworker does it

If the job opportunity is better than go for it!
It happens all the time.
Don't tell your current job until you have the new job.

duh! no offense

yeah it's your life

I would It may complicate things later if they found out.

You would have to provide them with references, so it will come out.

its fine with me.........

Yes, they'll probably ask you who your present employer is in the interview anyway.
It's best to be upfront and honest, otherwise you could find yourself being timetabled to be working in both places at the same time.

Well, you better check your work rules because sometimes you have to get permission for a second job. A lot of employers also do not allow you to work for a competitor--conflict of interest. They might think you would try to draw their customers to the other hotel, whether you did or not. I'd look for a second job in another industry. Maybe retail.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!

It's called a conflict of interest. I would never allow an employee to work for a competitor. And the people whol think there is nothing "they" can do is wrong. It's a simple business practice. You have an opportunity to steal business.

It may be a conflict of interest

its not illegal

they're so desperate for help, they don't care

Sure, that is okay!

if it is in the same city you shouldnt do that.

that's okey!!

I don't think it is OK ethically
