How Do I get people to Like me as a Front Desk Agent at a Hotel?

I might start a job as a front desk agent for the Marriott Hotel
and wondered what I could do to make people happy, and
how to satistify their needs?

My interviewer told me that at times I will have angry customers and they will look at me as a kid who doesnt know what he's doing. He also said if regular customers don't get their way they get angry and are inpatient.

How do I deal with those Clients? I never want to the one that they hate everytime they enter the hotel.

Also... How do I get other Employees to like me and see me as a good part of their team? I really want to do this job right, not like past jobs that I messed up for being a jerk and irresponsible. What to Other Hotel Employees Value in their Teammates?

Thank you very much for those of you with intelligent answers!

The same way you get people to like you in your everyday life.I can guarantee you if you're not a like able person away from the job neither will you be on the job. There is only one you friend perfect yourself and whether at work or abroad people will welcome your presence. The platform you need to stand upon is "patience".Don't have it?I didn't think so.It's an acquired thing, you know like a good education. Here is how you obtain it,we'll call it on the job training. When your customers start to treat you like a child and get angry or display their lack of patience, hold you peace,be kind, and above all things smile.Once you've acquired patience the sky won't even be a limit for you.Let God perfect you, yell I know you might say you're a good person but God is in the business of making good people better. Then pursue patience,no other platform to display the new you will suffice.Be strong and always confident,God Bless You.

Read the book "How to Make Friends and Influence People". Its an old book most libraries have it.

Simply put try to treat people how you would like to be treated. Put yourself in their shoes and show some understanding when taking complaints. Be courtious and try to solve the issue quickly and with confidence.

have a smile, have nice, even tones when spoken to, and remember: "how would i liked to be talked to?"
