How to get over a broken heart living with your ex in a foreign country?

Me and my bf went on a break before the summer, because we needed to sort some things out. Right before the break we were constantly arguing and just hurting each other, so I suggested the break so that we could both figure out what we wanted and what we could do to make things better. We were both due to go for a job in a different country in September anyway, so I thought we would just take it from there and rebuild our relationship.

The problem is that he has now fallen for an other girl, and he didn't tell me this until we were in the same hotel room in this foreign country. My heart broke the second he told me. I still love him so much. And what's worse, I am now in a hotel room that I am sharing with him (until we get our own places sorted, moving out is not an option right now), in a foreign country, without any other friends than him. I just don't know how to get over him. I keep crying all the time, and the only one who is here to give me a hug is him.

awww hun, you will probably find that the new person is a rebound. It happens. It will take time to get over him, but it won't start until you no longer have to see him. If you can try and get another hotel room, if not that then try to be in it as little as you can. Go talk to other guests and get to know them. anything to get away. i know your head will be frantic with so many questions. Please go to the site

best of luck Big hug

Hey it sounds like Im that girl!! His initials wouldnt happen to be LF!! In my dreams. I think you should try to move on, especially if he says he is in love, some men dont use that word lightly. Its hard when you are away from everyone and everything you know, just let him hug you, you sound like you need it.

i am very sorry to hear your very sad problems. all i can say is try and be strong. think of your mom who loves you. try and phone home for some advice and consoling. and try and resign yourself to the fact that it over. i wish you well. good luck.
