I've never heard of a "manageress". However, she shouldn't be so concerned with her title. She should just do her job well. Hotel Manager. Gender differentiation should not be necessary in this day and age. Where will it stop? cookess, chefess, builderess? Tell her to get over herself. MANAGER. I am a Director. A woman can be the President not a Presidentess. Manageress is a made up word. manager. i dont like manageress If it communicates the role being performed, does it really matter? It makes no odds to me whether the term is manager or manageress as long as they are the one in charge!!! Surely the validation is in being chosen for the job position rather than the job title, that is maybe your friend is looking at the position from a half empty point of view rather than a half full point of view. |
