Torn between jobs? |
i am torn between jobs.. i got hired at a job making 10 an hour full time workin at a smaller hotel as front desk clerk, today i found out that they are holdin a job for me as a night auditor at a bigger hotel full time.. the one that was offered today doesnt start untill august and i really dont want to screw the lady over who hired me at the first job... i dont know what they would pay me for the night audit position but it would be close maybe more to what i am makin (10hrl)... what would you guys do? Find out what the auditor position pays. If its more, and you are going to be happy in that position, take it. You need to be more comcerned about your own happiness and welfare as opposed to being concerned about the lady who hired you first. ...as selfish as that sounds. it is hard to find jobs im looking for something else while im still at work i want to do something else Go for the money This lady doesnt care. Or just stay and be fired so she can hire her lunatic son in law. Stay where you are. You wouldn't like the night audit job. BIRD IN HAND WORTH TWO IN THE BUSH. You don't owe the lady that offered you the position as a clerk anything. It's your life honey. You have to do whats best for you. Don't worry about what she is going to think. She will find a replacement. The same way she found you. She is not the one that is paying your bills. However, I would find out how much the auditor position is paying 1st. That should be the basis on how you make your decision. Hope this helps. REMEMBER: You pay your bills... not her... you don't owe her anything.
