Generally not, hotels have extraneous costs and stuff that make them more expensive than rent.

But if you find an apartment and are month-to-month you can technically be kicked out any month they want. If you sign a lease you can't be kicked out for the term of the lease and the rent stays the same. They're other options like extended stay hotels or furnished rooms or hostels or shared rooms or industrial lofts and stuff. Don't get more than a studio if budget is tight.

But they have extended stay hotels (30 days or longer) if you must. Probably between rent and hotels in expensivness.
no you would be better off finding an apartment.
If a hotel was normally cheaper than an apartment, why would anyone rent an apartment??
Instead of a Hotel, maybe a Motel, which should be cheaper and also Hostels are even cheaper but of course u would have to share it with other people but that would b only temporary since ur looking for an apartment. Do u know anyone who lives n the area ur moving too? If so, see if u can stay with them while ur looking for an apartment. But it wouldn't make any sense to get an apartment without having a job. Plan everything out b4 u do it.
What is your question?
