What is OK to take from hotel stay?

We have been staying in a hotel for 2 months for my husbands job. Is it fair to take the pillows with us when we check out? They will be replaced with new ones anyway when we leave. What else can I take? What do you take?

i work in a hotel and it is not okay to take anything. If you really want the pillows ask for them. If you have been there for two months and made an effort to get to know the staff chances are they will give them to you.
You can take the pillows as long as you aren't surprised when they show up on your hotel room bill. That is why most hotel's ask for a credit card when you check in - - that way if you take anything or damage anything they can immediatly charge it to your credit card. Typically the only acceptable thing to take would be the travel shampoo or soap that was left by the maid.

So I guess, take what you want - - but they'll charge you alot for it!
Take the soap and the bathroom supplies that you've already used. Don't take the pillows, that's not cool.
only the travel stuff, shampoo, soap, thinks like that, you should ask what happens to the other stuff, and ask if you can take it.
No! They will charge for anything but toilet paper, soap, shampoo/conditioner and if you ask them for a toothbrush I should think that they would let you keep it...

*They don't replace the pillow... They wash it and the sheets and put it back on the bed... That is why I take my own pillow when I go to a hotel...
is it OK to steal?
no.
You can take the little soaps and what you came with.

If you take anything else, you will be charged for them.
