This question is asked over and over about the same hotel, same offer, but about half a dozen manager names. It is a known scam. They promise you everything, then collect that permit processing fee. Maybe even "hit a glitch" and charge an extra legal fee. But you don't get any real service, and you wont get a job at Omni Canada. If you receive online job offers, consider the following: * Does the email or job posting direct you to contact an email address that uses a free webmailer (Yahoo, Hotmail, etc)? * Does the recruiter have a website that matches the domain of the email address? For an email address like name@example.com there should be a website like http://www.example.com and it should be a recruiting company. * Does the company provide a postal address, telephone and fax number? * Can you independently verify the postal addresses on a Google search? * Are the conditions too favourable ($30,000 per month salary, five star hotel accomodation)? http://answers.yahoo.com/search/search_r... This has been asked at least 100 times YES IT IS A SCAM Local hotel are low pay jobs and hire from area they would not pay for someone to come to Canada just to work at a hotel and pay for someone air fare/accomodation Anyone who believes it and sends even $ 1.00 is making someone rich somewhere |
