I need help with writting an objective on my updated resume. The job is much needed and at a hotel.......? |
as a front desk clerk. Any help appreciated..... To obtain a job as a front desk clerk where I can use my strong interpersonal and organizational skills. The objective should always specify the job you are seeking. Look up the hotels in the yellow pages and call and ask if you can fax over your resume I'm not sure of your age...but what about: Highly motivated (fill in the blank - college student...) pursuing a career in the hospitality field. With the exceptional customer service skills that I learned while (delivery pizza, mopping floors whatever) I am ready to move into the field I am most interested in. I am looking for a long term move. I have plans to enroll in the local community college course on hotel and restaraunt management in the spring. That ought to do it. Am a bs artist To obtain a position in the hospitality field that will enable me to support the company's goals. ...or if that's just too much, to work in the customer service field in order to enable individuals to meet their goals. or if that's still too much, to get a job that allows me to provide service in support of the company's objectives. Good Luck! Don't use an objective. These lines are pretty useless, and kind of outdated. You should be saying what you want to say, in more detail, in your cover letter. Objectives are always oversimplified and when I get a resume everybody writes that their objective is "to obtain a position in..." It's not needed, don't worry about it. |
