She is in her early 20's,great on MS word,but is a little slow mentally .She gets also discriminated because she is 4'11''.She is a work aholic and is a very punctaul young lady,who takes responsibilty very serious.Where can I get help for her..She needs benefits,and is willing to work 40 hrs.She is employed right now with only 19 hrs. and they refuse to give her the 20 hrs. for insurance.I know I should let her handle it on her own.Elgin Public aid refused her help because she was not pregnant and because she had a coat on that was not ripped.A local hotel refused her because she was to short.The job she is at now cut her hours because an employee reported her because she was watching what they were doing because she wanted to learn what they were doing.Please someone out there hear us and help.She is a born and raised american citizen and she gets treated like this.Again please anyone help us in finding employment for her =(
First off, if a company did not hire her because she was too short, they are breaking the law. If anyone is discriminating because of a disability, they are breaking the law. Se, this is exactly why people need to have access to laws and what their rights are as well as lawyers. Anywa, has she ever thought of running a business from home?
