I am meeting a new girl in Aruba. Should I be expected to pay her airfare and hotel even though its our first. |
We met on a dating website. And I think she is wanting me to pay for her airfare and her hotel room. I am uncomfortable with this as I am covering mine. She is from Venezula and I am from the US. Her airfare will be much cheaper too. I do not want to seem cheap yet I do not want to feel like a wallet either. She has a job and has money. What do you think?? You do not have to pay. A guy paying for a meal, or an evening out makes sense, but airfare and hotel? That is a bit too high for me, for my own comfort. I will not expect the guy to pay for mine. How much do you know this girl? Are you two close? Do you like her a lot? Certain factors could affect whether u feel comfortable paying or not, but since u haven't offered, she should respect that, provided it's the first meeting. Have an honest discussion with her, and see what she says. That's the only best way to work it out. In my opinion, a really sensible girl will not expect you to pay for her for this. Being nice is good, but don't be so nice that she takes advantage of it. There are girls who could do that unfortunately. Maybe you should completely work out the details before the trip and like ask her. dont pay. You shoudn't pay for her!! Maybe that's what she really wants. She shoudn't expect you to pay for het ticket, I mean, you haven't even met the girl! Expect her to be abducted NEWS She may keep the money and not come. |
