I hear we need illegal immigrants because no one will do these low paying jobs?

But what happens to these jobs after they get there citizenship because we just said that no American will work the fields,make beds, or clean up after Americans. But what about the American working at Wal-mart, Mac Donolds they pay the same low pay And still legal Americans make it. Ask the people of LA after Katrena they will work the Hotels. We can not get the 11 million illegals out today but in time as we catch up with them. And make it a crime to house them or give them work.
Then if we need the worker use the immigration bills we have. Come for that job and then go home.So why with all the Americans on unemployment and people out of work and people in prison that are a burden on this Country. And if did have a better immigration sys. What do you think about the crime of comming here illegaly

That is a crock!! I personally do not believe there is a job an AMERICAN won't do. I have watched " Dirtiest Jobs" on TV and I see AMERICANS cleaning out cesspools, replacing pumps in cesspools, crawling through pipes underground where there are cockroaches and big, fat RATS, picking up dead animal carcasses on the highways. I never see a Mexican do those jobs. I have a family member who works in the sanitation station in our city, he's white. Our president is speaking out of turn when he says that. He has no idea what American do or will do to take care of their families.

I say let them all in. If they want to come to america and make a better life, who am I to say no. I work at a restaurant and at least half of them are Mexican, I dont know if any are illegal and I dont care, they work hard and they dont bother me at all. It is illegal to give them work, but if they are going to work harder than some white guy, then who am i to say no. I think we are focusing on the wrong border. Where did the 9 11 hijackers cross into America, CANADA.
There is always going to be an illegal immigrant to replace the Job once he/she becomes legal. Don't worry about it. People are always moving up the latter. Isn't that what we all do?
We don't need ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS to do anything. There are plenty of people that want LEGAL STATUS when they arrive over here and are willing to do any job because what they are leaving is usually much worse than the manual trade jobs here in America. Have not you seen the news about how many people (families) around the world live on anywhere from $100 - $400 dollars per year.

I am all for people coming over to our country to find a better life - THEY JUST NEED TO DO IT LEGALLY!
Immigration should be done through a legal evaluation period, through which they are monitored. And if they fail, even if they are working hard, they're outta here. And um, well, I've noticed in my MANY years of working with mexicans that yeah, they work hard and fast, but the quality of work... pretty sorry... just speaking from EXPERIENCE, not to offend anyone.
And I know of plenty of white people that can and do farm and reap the harvest. So saying that "white people don't do those jobs" is kind of ridiculous. yeah... I never met a mexican honey truck operator before. And THAT'S a nasty job.(think: port-o-potty, or outhouse)
So basically what I'm saying is:
Send all the illegal immigrants back as fast as feasibly posible, not necessarily because they are stealing jobs, but because there needs to be a FLOOD control. mexicans do NOT need to be the fastest growing minority race in the southwest. (I use the word minority because they're another color other than white, not because their numbers are much smaller than whites)

In closing, if I seem racist, that's because I AM.

Yes, but only because I have arrived at a conclusion based on facts, by witnessing events, and by personal experience.
Mostly, I judge on the individual.

And deep down, alot of you are too, even if you don't admit it. Becase the word "racist" is worse than most four letter words.

And well... letting them all in is a VERY BAD idea. Because if they are allowed to come in, guess what? They will! And by the way, I have never met an Immigrant- legal or illegal, that had ANY sense of patriotism toward this country. And many, believe it or not, COMPLAIN about their state of life here. Well if they don't like it here, they can get out! And the ones that do, can come in the right way.

The only reason the jobs are so 'low paying' is because there is a large population of illegal immigrants who are willing to do it below minimum wage and under the radar.

If the supply of cheap illegal labor were to be reduced, the pay for such jobs would have to rise to a standard that more people would find acceptable.
