Whats the job market like these days in Austin ,TX for a low level clerk/receptionist/hotel worker? |
currently working on phone surveys for the centers for disease control/ childhood immunization project. want to get out of Vegas I live in Austin and there's "For Hire" signs all over the place. Lots of new hotels going up too. Source(s): Check out http://www.workaustin.com it's pretty tight, but if you have experience in the non-profit/govt sectors (there are tons here), you can probably find something more easily. that is, if you don't mind low-ish salaries. however, the good news is that govt and non-profit workers usually enjoy awesome health benefits! i would check craigslist.org daily, or get a free subscription to have job postings emailed to you. good luck! my own jobhunting experience as an admin in this town |
