Work at a hotel front desk?

do you like the job and whats your typical day like? i always thought it would be an interesting job...

I worked as a night auditor one winter many years ago. I enjoyed it. I was able to do my homework for college after I had closed out the hotel. It was nice not having the interruptions and I was able to stay awake and study. Basically I worked from 11pm to 7am and I had all of my work done by 2am and was able to do the things I wanted to do from 2am to 6am.

Yes, its very interesting. You meet all sorts of people from all over the country and the world. You have to be good with people; customer service driven. Be able to take verbal abuse from an angry guest.

The typical day is helping guests with any thing they need. They will ask all sorta ?'s; about how to get to such n such place, recommendations for activities, food etc.
