Hi Buddy, A Cross Town/City/Emirate Ride Usually Depends How Far The Distance Is, The closest emirate to Dubai is Sharjah, the meter taxis usually take about AED 50 to AED 60 from downtown Bur Dubai (In Dubai) to Rolla Street (In Sharjah) For A New Comer It Is Advisible To Buy A Car, Cause Taxis Take A Lotta Time To Travel In The Traffic, & Buses are absoutely out of the question. An Entry Level salary for hotel management Job is usually between AED 7,000/- to AED 9,000/ depending upon your experience & qualifications. make sure your housing and health insurance is taken care by the hotel. For a hotel management job, you should be looking at about 12-15,000 per month. A taxi fare is similar to most industrialised cities. US$40 for a 20-30 minute ride. Hi there, I don't know how much your salary should be, but it should not be less then DHS 7.000 by housing provided. Taxi fares over here are cheap, but the standard of these cabs can not be compared with taxis in the west. Here the meter goes only by the way, not by the time of the ride. Many cabdrivers refuse to take passengers to areas where they expect to get stuck in traffic. Buying a car in UAE: First you have to get a UAE drivers license. If you really decide to buy a car, get a new one. It's much more simple, as the dealer is responsible for insuring and registering the car. Also driving here is much different from other places in the West. You can only transfer your current into a UAE drivers license, when your nationality and the country which issued the document is the same. I.e. an american needs an american drivers license. Some countries are excluded! To apply for a UAE drivers license you also need a NOC letter from your employer. If your drivers license is transferable, it will be done in within an hour. Just RENT a car! |
