When is it appropriate to display holiday villages?? |
My job (a hotel) decorates for every holiday, and I have a huge village that I want to put out on display. Most of the local shopping areas are already putting Christmas decorations out, but I didn't want to jump too far ahead. I usually don't put anything out until the month of the holiday, but in this case, I wasn't sure if I could put the village out early, and do the rest, (trees, lights, etc.) later. This is such a beautiful display, and everyone wants to see it, but I don't want to offend anyone who may think it's too early to put it on display. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Now competition is just that....if others are already doing it, join in the fun......and besides...Christmas usually gets people into a good mood.....and we don't have enough of that. We usually decorate for Christmas during the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend. I think go for it i make a beatuiful one to but i put mine under the tree and it has really grown over the years it makes people happy to see theses things i think yes go for it as soon as you can ... |
