What do you think of this job?

Since here in Italy I cannot find a job I'm thinking of looking for a job as a porter in a hotel in the UK,possibly with a live in accommodation.Do you think I should give it a try or not?

Go for it. As long as you have a job and accommodation you can hold your head up high . There are plenty of menial jobs going in Uk it is the accommodation that is the problem. Quite expensive but i am sure you will get sorted out. Good luck to you and i wish you well.

why not? its a good way to get to know a country. dont do it in london though, you wont meet any english people!

I wouldnt.... long hours bad accomadation and stuffy customers! try another country mate.
Yes. If your english is of a good standard and you are likely to be accepted more by hotels. Also check out brands of hotels for example sofiotel, accor, novotel ect and english brand hotels and check out what sort of accommodation you would have your working hours, and what lengths you will need to go to work for these people. Are you physically strong enough to carry alot of baggage.
